Ubuntu on PS3 update 1

Recently Toy17s.com brought a ps3 and started hacking away at its ^other os feature^ I must say from this experiance unless you have a real reason why you would want to have Linux runnng on your play station 3 do not bother doing this . Well after a few stressful days and constant reading and formatting of usb^s, hdd^s ps3, and exchanging files, trips to shop to buy extra hardware to make life easy.... We have Ubuntu 7.10 desktop on the playstation 3 with networking working and the GUI working in a decent state for the LCD we are running ( a cheap 27" LCD ). Keep up to date on our site for a decent tutorial with the proper way how to install linux ubuntu on your play station 3 in 1hour.
